Critical to the effectiveness of Salesforce, the Student Profile provides concise and meaningful data about ASU’s student body in one location. 

This data is integral to creating successful connections among faculty, staff and students. By having Salesforce Student Profiles, Sun Devils can get the personalized, student-centric support they need – and expect – through the help of centralized, cloud-based technology.

How it works

Salesforce users can access a student's profile directly from a button on the Contact details page. This opens in a new tab within Salesforce, displaying comprehensive information about the student. 

The profile integrates over 250 data points from disparate systems, offering staff a holistic view of the student's ASU experience.

Steps to access Salesforce Student Profile

ASU's Student Success Innovations (SSI) helps units by administering access to the Salesforce Student Profile and offering implementation support

Fill out this form to request individual user access.

Complete the FERPA training to view undergraduate and graduate Student Profile Data in Salesforce

Wait 2-3 business days for a Data Trustee to approve the role.

An email will notify you upon approval and access to Salesforce StudentPortal.

Please note: All new Advisor Portal and some Case Management users will automatically gain access to Student Profile.

FAQ

Information displayed in the Student Profile originates in PeopleSoft. Updating pages in PeopleSoft, (i.e. advising notes, comments, financial aid) will migrate to the Student Profile. Users cannot update information in Student Profile directly but must navigate to PeopleSoft via the quick links, to make any necessary changes to student’s academic information, as appropriate and allowed by users’ security role approvals.
